How do I withdraw funds from my PayPal account?
You can withdraw funds from your PayPal account to your local bank account in KRW or a U.S. bank account.
To withdraw funds from your PayPal account:
- Go to Wallet.
- Click Transfer Funds.
- Click Transfer to your bank.
- Click in minutes or in 1-3 days.
- Follow the instructions.
To withdraw money on the app:
- Tap your PayPal balance.
- Tap Transfer Money.
- Tap Transfer to bank.
- Follow the instructions.
The funds will be deposited to your bank account in 3 to 5 business days.

Here are a few tips regarding withdrawing funds from your PayPal account:
1. Withdraw funds to local bank account:
- The minimum amount you can withdraw is 10 USD.
- There’s a fee if you withdraw less than 150,000 KRW, however, no fees apply if you withdraw 150,000 KRW or more.
- You're subject to a maximum withdrawal limit equivalent to 20,000 USD from 9:30 AM of each Business Day till 09:30 of the next Business Day.
- If you withdraw on a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday in South Korea or Hong Kong SAR, your withdrawals will only be settled on the next Business Day in South Korea and Hong Kong. The total amount you may withdraw during Saturdays, Sundays, or public holiday(s) is subject to the withdrawal limit of the last Business Day prior to the said weekend or public holiday.
- For example, the maximum withdrawal limit from Friday 9:30 AM KST till Monday 9:30 AM KST is 20,000 USD in total.
- In some cases, due to foreign exchange fluctuations, your withdrawal amount (upon conversion) may exceed the withdrawal limit in USD equivalent. Please control your withdrawal amounts accordingly.
2. Withdraw funds to a U.S. bank account: The minimum amount you can withdraw is 1 USD. The funds will be deposited into your bank account in 1 business day. A transaction fee will be charged for each withdrawal.
3. Some banks may charge fees for electronic funds transfers. Please contact your bank directly for more information.
4. If the bank is unable to process your request due to incomplete or incorrect information in your withdrawal request, the funds will be returned to your PayPal account (Please check our Fee Page for any applicable fees that may apply in this case).).
You can’t cancel a request to withdraw funds.
All transfers are subject to review and could be delayed or stopped if we identify an issue.
