PPTU operates and supports cold water conservation and restoration. Programs include: Trout in the Classroom for youth, a youth fishing program, Healing Waters program for disabled veterans at Ft. Meade and Walter Reed Medical Center, the Mayfly Project for underprivileged youths, and Casting for Recovery for breast cancer survivors. We also provide local stream improvements and cleanups, and stock trout in cooperation with Maryland Dept of Natural Resources.
