How do I enrol in PayPal Giving Fund?
Registered charities are eligible to enrol with PayPal Giving Fund. You’ll need to meet PayPal’s eligibility requirements and follow the below steps to benefit from all of PayPal Giving Fund programmes and to gain access to donation/donor data (where shared).
Becoming a confirmed charity with PayPal also allows you to qualify for PayPal’s special discounted charity rate.
Community Interest Companies aren’t eligible to enrol with PayPal Giving Fund.
Enrolment steps
- To enrol with PayPal Giving Fund, your charity needs to have a PayPal Business account. If you don't have one, you can sign up now.
- Once you've set up your PayPal Business account, you'll need to confirm that your PayPal account belongs to a charity.
- After you receive an email verifying that your charity status is confirmed with PayPal, your charity is reviewed for PayPal Giving Fund enrolment. If you’re eligible, you’ll receive another email in approximately 2 working days confirming that you’ve been enrolled.
Your charity doesn’t need to enrol to receive grants from PayPal Giving Fund, however, by enrolling it will:
- Receive grants in your PayPal account in a single monthly payment.
- Track all donations made to your charity through the charity dashboard.
- View donor details (where the donor has agreed to share their details with you) to help build your database.
- Be eligible to participate in additional PayPal Giving Fund programmes.
- Have the ability to update your charity profile page which appears on our partners' platforms such as Facebook and PayPal.
