Help empower and enable youth, frontline, and disproportionately impacted community members to lobby Congress to highlight the intersectional impacts of nuclear weapons, power, and waste during the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability’s 2025 DC Days!

Starting in 1989, the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability (ANA) has hosted Spring DC Days, where grassroots representatives from major nuclear sites across the U.S. have joined together in Washington D.C. for a week of action to lobby Congressmembers and Government Departments on issues regarding nuclear weapons, power, and waste. In 2023, we launched our Next Generation/ Disproportionately Impacted Community Scholarships Fund, which offered a total of $5,000 that enabled fifteen frontline BIPOC and youth to join DC Days in 2023. In 2024, we were able to raise $11,500 to support 23 participants. This year, we are setting a goal of $15,000 to support 25 participants. 

DC Days 2023 and 2024 were our most diverse constituencies to date, but we recognize the need to go farther in 2025, and funding is key to making this happen. With your support, we can ensure that disproportionately impacted communities and youth have an unprecedented opportunity to lobby their Congressmembers in DC on issues related to nuclear weapons, power, and waste. This funding will be used to offer financial assistance related to transportation, housing, and food, as well as outreach and overhead expenses for DC Days in the spring of 2025.
