Mission Statement Operation Walk Virginia: - Is a private, not-for-profit, volunteer medical service organization. - Provides free surgical treatment (hip/knee replacements) for patients with disabling arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions in developing countries and in the United States. - Educates in-country orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals on the most advanced treatments and surgical techniques for disease of the hip and knee joints.
