Without your help, we can't help the cats that need us most.
Loved at Last is the only organization devoted to the ongoing care of feral cats in our community. We feed them daily, we fix them to prevent kittens from being born to continue the cycle, we heal them when they are sick or injured, and we love them as they are-- with no expectation of warm fuzzies and snuggles in return. They aren't those kinda kitties, and we wouldn't dare try to change who they are in their little wild hearts. This is about THEM-- not us.
We spend hours on the streets each and every day to improve their lives. We log hours and hours and more hours trapping cats that need medical care or spay/neuter. In 11 years, we have never given up on a difficult case. We do what needs to be done until it gets done. The population of cats we fight for has no one else, which makes everything even more gut wrenching. If we are forced to stop helping them, so many cats will suffer. Truly alone and invisible to the world.
This work has been so very hard on the humans involved. Our tiny team is really worn down and out of fight. Not just from the constant struggle and all these years of endless work, but from the meanness and cruelty of the community itself. We need people to step in to help so that we can work towards being restored and do better-than-ever work on behalf of these precious wild-hearted cats.
