What is PayPal Advanced Checkout and how do I get started?

PayPal Advanced Checkout allows you to create and customize your checkout to accept debit and credit card payments directly on your website, PayPal payment options, Apple and Google Pay.

Here's a full list of payment methods supported. Check to see what’s available in your country.

Choosing this option can help drive conversion by ensuring that customers' preferred payment methods are available while keeping your sales all in one place.

How do I get started?

  1. Complete the product onboarding process.
  2. Visit our Developer portal to start the integration process and testing on your website.

How do I enable buyers to pay with Apple Pay on my site?

You must onboard with Advanced Checkout to enable Apple Pay.

Here's how to enable Apple Pay on the PayPal website:

  1. Go to Account Settings.
  2. Click Payment methods at the bottom of the menu on the left side.
  3. Click Get Started next to Apple Pay.
