Send money internationally

You can send money abroad to another PayPal account just like you would domestically:

1. Enter your recipient’s name, PayPal handle, email, or mobile phone.
2. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a note if you’d like.
3. Choose your payment type and payment method.
4. Review the transaction information, including all applicable fees, and select “Send”.

You can also send money to someone who doesn’t have a PayPal account with Xoom, a PayPal service,¹ right from the PayPal app. To transfer money internationally via Xoom in the PayPal app, go to the App menu and choose your preferred delivery option.

With PayPal, your international transfers can reach numerous destinations quickly when you send to another PayPal account.

With Xoom, the time to receive money varies depending on the delivery method. Transfers could be delayed or stopped if any issues arise during the process.
