Why haven't I received donations made to my charity from PayPal Giving Fund? 

PayPal Giving Fund receives donations made on fundraising platforms including PayPal, GoFundMe, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch and more. 

PayPal Giving Fund grants donated funds to enrolled charities within 15-45 days. Charities should enroll with PayPal Giving Fund to receive the grants quickly and securely. When you enroll, you’ll receive grants in monthly payouts, which occur at the end of each month.

Your charity may not have received a grant from PayPal Giving Fund due to one or more of these reasons:

1. We haven't distributed the grants yet:

Enrolled charities receive grants into their account at the end of each month. This is for donations received between the 16th of the previous month up to the 15th of the current month.

Unenrolled charities receive a cheque within 90 days from the date of donation. The cheque is posted to the charity's address listed with the Canada Revenue Agency.

2. Your charity has an outdated postal address or no address listed with the Canada Revenue Agency:

If your charity is unenrolled, we issue donations via cheque to the address listed with the Canada Revenue Agency. If this is outdated, please update it with the Canada Revenue Agency directly and let us know so we can reissue the cheque to the correct address. 

3. Your charity's PayPal account is limited, preventing your organization from receiving money:

The primary authorized user on the PayPal account will need to contact PayPal customer service to resolve the limitation.

4. Your charity is no longer eligible:

• We'll ask the donor to nominate an alternate charity to benefit from their donation.
• If your charity has lost its registration with the Canada Revenue Agency, it's not eligible to receive a grant from PayPal Giving Fund.
• If your organization has breached the terms of our Charity Certification Policy, it's not eligible to receive a grant from PayPal Giving Fund.
