Why did I get result code 114?

A result code 114 is commonly a bank decline due to a mismatch with the customer’s Card Security Code (CSC), also known as Card Verification Value (CVV). If this happens, an authorization may still exist on the cardholder's account, and the bank may hold the funds until further review. Check that a valid Card Security Code (CSC) is being passed and that the CSC value contains no spaces. If necessary, have the customer contact the issuing bank to have them release the funds.
