Since starting in March 2016, Oklahoma Women in Technology (OKWIT) has over 1100 members in Oklahoma. We strive to promote, advocate, and provide leadership for women working in technology via events consisting of speakers, panels, and networking opportunities to bring awareness to gender disparity in STEM fields, while also striving to impact change for women working in the industry. OKWIT also works to encourage young students to choose STEM careers via day retreats and by offering scholarships.
