The Book Works is a nonprofit organization supporting youth and young adults who are re-connecting with school and work. Youth learn employment skills, planning and problem solving, and teamwork through hands-on projects that promote literacy and community engagement. Each young person works one-on-one with a near-peer advocate to reach their education and employment goals.
